We met on OKCupid amidst hurricane aftermath and spine surgery recovery—not exactly a recipe for romance! But we stayed close friends, and in 2014, things took a new turn.

We took a big step and moved in together, and in 2016, our family grew with the arrival of our beloved pup, Hendrik, who’s been by our side ever since.

After years of adventures and navigating life’s ups and downs, Donal surprised Laura with a deeply meaningful ring. It was the perfect moment to say ‘yes’ to celebrating with an epic party and officially solidifying our little family!

For those arriving on Friday, we’d be thrilled to have you join us at Soundview Greenport to watch the stunning sunset over the Sound, followed by a cozy bonfire on the beach (weather permitting). We’ll have a selection of canned beverages—wine, beer, and soft drinks—so you can relax and unwind. Stop by before or after dinner to take in the view and enjoy some time together! Light snacks available on request.

The Wedding

Please join us for a beautiful beachside ceremony at Soundview Greenport. Arrive by 5:00 PM to enjoy the stunning backdrop of the Sound as we exchange vows from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. Afterward, we’ll gather at The Halyard, Soundview’s premier restaurant, for a night of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and joyful celebration with friends and family. We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

Hotel Information: A limited number of rooms have been reserved at Soundview Inn for our guests. We recommend booking early, as availability may be limited. You can find more details and book your stay above. Additionally, there are other accommodation options nearby, including Airbnb and other local hotels, should you prefer. We encourage you to secure your room soon!

Dress Code: The wedding setting is both beachy and relaxed, yet elegant. We encourage guests to dress in a way that’s stylish and polished while also feeling comfortable for the seaside atmosphere. Think elegant but with a laid-back vibe — perfect for a beachside celebration!
Children: Due to space constraints, we kindly ask that our reception remain adults-only, with the exception of a few close family members. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Registry & Gifts: Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you do wish to give something, we would greatly appreciate contributions toward our future together. A cash gift is entirely optional, but if you’d like to contribute, it would mean so much to us.
